All pieces from Proxecto Bolina are developed by artisans from A Guarda, Pontevedra. From net makers, to ceramists, and metal workers, our aim is to maintain traditional techniques by incorporating them into the development of contemporary products.

The “redeiras” are a traditional group of women net makers from Galicia, currently at risk of disappearing. To pass their profession on to future generations, they must innovate and diversify their work, while always maintaining the origin and identity of their craft.

Proxecto Bolina incorporates the Association of Women Net Makers of A Guarda, whose work is currently endangered, in the design process of a product. Every piece we develop is handsewn by the redeiras using their same process, tools and knowledge as in their traditional craft.
